Maritime Law is a combination of both domestic law that governs offshore activities, as well as a private international law that governs the actions of private entities that operate ships and other vessels in international waters. Michael W LeRoy and Why You Should Go To College

Michael W LeRoy spent seven years of his life earning his post-high school degrees. With his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska and his law degree from Florida State University, he knows just how important a good education can be. Here is why Michael W LeRoy believes college is the best choice for a successful future.

Maybe you are not sure that college is the best choice for you, or maybe you are having a difficult time figuring out how to pay for an education. While these are valid concerns that should be addressed, Michael W LeRoy feels it is a good idea to really take a look at what extra time in school can do for you.

In this day and age, a high school education is not always enough to get even an entry-level job. Michael W LeRoy says that, if you truly want to have the career of your dreams, you have to put in the extra effort and complete college. Not only does this prepare you for the job market, it allows you to be competitive with peers who are likely going after the same types of positions.

After more than two decades as a lawyer and an extensive education, Michael W LeRoy has been able to go after his dream and become the managing partner of his own firm. Going to college not only provided him with the proper education to do this, it also taught Michael LeRoy everything he knows about perseverance and proper business ethics.
A college education is more than just the books and classes to Michael W LeRoy, although those are very important to achieving success. It is also about coming to a point in your life where you know what you want and are comfortable with going after it no matter the effort involved.

How to Balance Your Personal and Professional Life with Michael W LeRoy

Michael W LeRoy is all too aware of how complicated it can be to keep a solid balance between the various aspects of your life. When you let personal encroach on professional, you lose focus and drive. Motivation becomes slack and you work begins to suffer. On the other hand, says Michael W LeRoy, if you allow work to become everything, work and outside life will both suffer. So here are some tips on how to achieve the perfect balance from Michael W LeRoy.

Michael W LeRoy
Set aside times for each part of your day like Michael W LeRoy does. Maybe first thing in the morning is just for you. Use this time to enjoy the newspaper over breakfast or get in a quick jog. Make sure to focus on work while you're actually at work, allotting time for each part of the day allows you to compartmentalize everything. Let there be time, possibly right when you get home, to unwind and spend time with loved ones.

Become involved in a hobby that you are passionate about. Michael W LeRoy is very involved in his community and his volunteer projects. He suggests that if all you have to think about is that big presentation on Monday, your down time will be much less about you and much more about the office. So finding something that is not only enjoyable, but also interesting to you, can really keep your mind on work when it needs to be.

Also be sure to reward yourself for a job well done. Something that can really make you feel burned out or overwhelmed with work is a lack confidence in yourself and your work. Sometimes it is good for you to simply take a step back and appreciate yourself. Michael W LeRoy suggests you take yourself out to a favorite place for lunch or spend some down time just reading a book you keep putting aside. Michael W LeRoy believes that self-appreciation can go a long way in helping you keep a balance between all parts of life.
